The 'Hip-Hop Quotables' aren't just on the Erick Sermon track, they decorate the LP over some of hip hop's most notable producer's (Kanye West, 666 Mafia) most 'urban legend' tracks ('Stand Up' and 'Diamond In The Back' don't exactly sound as familiar as the other tracks in these beatmaker's catalogues), but these beats wouldn't have become as legendary without the unique mixed bag flows that Luda came at them on 'Chicken N' Beer', as he delivers on all the tracks on this record. He was could switch up his flow for some good-and-raunchy love songs (Splash Waterfalls) or Southern-cooked. He had completely grown into his persona as the loudest and most lovable mouth in the South, and was stomping across tracks with the tail-swinging ferociousness of a T. The whole album is filled with singles for the club, yet still with enough humor and guff to keep the male audience interested. Everything came together for Ludacris on Chicken-N-Beer. I was glad I finally woke up to the alarm. I had yet to hear a Luda album until 'Chicken N' Beer'.
